We'll never say no. Private and small-group instruction is available with BLB instructors. If you find you really love the sport, let us know. We'd be glad to work with you outside of the BLB classes.
No. BLB is a non-contact/non-sparring program. While Nonantum Boxing Club does offer sparring for seasoned boxers under coaching supervision, BLB gives you the boxer's workout without the contact.
Proper boxing form means you maximize your workout and prevent injury. The goal of BLB is to teach you the sport and challenge you. So, you learn the basics and grow from there - effectively, and safely.
You do not! We teach you boxing and strength and conditioning from the ground up. All you need to bring is yourself. We meet you where you are.
Not at all. We manage BLB classes so you're challenged but not overlooked or overloaded. If you need modifications, we make them. If you need additional challenges, we'll give them to you. It's your class, and we want you to enjoy it.
